Issuing Commands to Low Water Crossing Controllers

Before issuing commands to a LWC controller, the controller must have been properly configured. It is important to have a working knowledge of the LWC Controllers before issuing commands.

To issue commands to Low Water Crossing Controllers, select "HSE Controls" from the "Controls" drop down menu. The following display will be shown:



After selecting a controller, the user can:

Turn a controller on

Turn a controller off

Request a controller's status (essentially an interrogation)

Return the controller to local control (note that turning a controller on or off effectively takes the controller out of local control)

Cancel a previously issued control before it completes.

Note that a command to return the controller to local control after any on or off command has been issued.
